Hue to Nha Trang 9 days 8 nights

Day 1: Hue- DMZ (Demilitarized Zone)(150km)

In the morning, we departing from Hue and ride along highway 1A to Quang Tri town. First we will visiting “ The high way of Horror ’’ where in the summer of 1972 a host of Southern soldiers lost a battle, retreated to Hue and were shoot to death here.  Along this road are the most military Cemeteries in the country. Then, we will visit Long Hung Church and Quang Tri Old Citadel which was a battlefield in 1972 between North and South Vietnam for 81 days and nights. We also stop at Hien Luong bridge and Ben Hai river (as know 17th Parallel and also the border line between the South and the North Vietnam during the American war). The place where dividing border of South and North Vietnam during the 20 years of Civil war.

Next we visit the Doc Mieu Firebase and stopping for lunch and relax at Cua Tung Queen Beach. After that, we will visit The Vinh Moc Tunnel and have short stop at the War Martyr Cemetery to pay respects to the soldiers who fought and died on the trail during the American War.
In the afternoon, Continuing west on Highway 9, you pass the turning south to another US Marines base, Camp Carroll, now a pepper farm. On the way, we will stop for take the picture to Rock Pile and visit Dakrong bridge. After that we go to Khe Sanh and stay there for 1 night. Free time at night for walking around the town and try some local food and local coffee which plant at this area.

Day 2 : Khe Sanh – A Luoi – Prao (215 km)

In the morning, after breakfast we will visit Khe Sanh Combat Base ( Ta Con Airport), then go  to Ho Chi Minh Trail to go to Aluoi. On this day you can enjoy’’ the real vietnamese mountain life’’ via Ho Chi Minh Trail. Amazing view with the river, mountain and the valley… we have lunch in A Luoi town. After lunch time, we continue to Prao town via Ho Chi Minh Trail, you can see the daily life of Ethnic minorities and the special weather and forest in the tropical countries. We arrive to Prao town about 5.00 pm and stay there for 1 night.

Day 3 : Prao to Da nang to Hoi an (158km)

After breakfast and drink some cup of coffee, we go down to the pass to go to Da nang city. On the way you can visit the Ethnic minority village and you can see their house and take the picture, let’s meet them, talk with them, look at them and try to understand them, they are really friendly and helpful, very funny to meet the foreigner tourist. Then you will visit the Tea fields. Then we continue go down the pass to go to China Beach and Marble mountain. In the afternoon we will arrive to Hoi an.

Day 4: Hoi An to Kham Duc (150km)

We travel from Hoi An to My Son a World Heritage site that is the Cham version of Angkor Wat, after that we cross the river by boat to Thanh My where we stop for lunch. In the afternoon we travel along the Ho Chi Minh Trail to Kham Duc,on the way we will stop at a beautiful waterfall along the way to take photo's.

Day5: Kham Duc to Kon Tum (220km)

We visit and swim at Dakga waterfall, go along the Ho Chi Minh trail across the Lo So pass. On the road we stop at some hill tribe villages. We will visit Dak To-Tan Canh, the victory monument of VC in 1972. In the afternoon we arrive in Kon Tum then tour the city to visit the Vinh Son Orphanage, a beautiful black wooden church, Bana minority village with their Rong Houses and visit old men playing bamboo instruments.

Day 6: Kon Tum to Buon Ma Thuot (240km)

This day we stop in see a lake near Pleiku, see rubber tree and coffee plantations, green pepper crops. Boun Ma Thout is famous for making the best Coffee in Vietnam, so this is the place to stock up and maybe enjoy a cup or two at a side walk cafe.

Day 7: Buon Ma Thuot to Lak Lake (150km)

In the morning we go to the majestic Dray Sap waterfalls, then in the afternoon we go to lak lake. Check in to the hotel then we visit the local Hnong Ethnic hill tribe. That evening enjoy a traditional music performance of the Hnong ethnic people.

Day 8: Lak Lake to Dalat (170km)

In the morning you have free time to perhaps ride an elephant or take a local boat across Lak Lake. Then we spend the rest of the day enjoying the beautiful landscape along the road to Dalat, arriving in the late afternoon.

Day 9: Dalat to Nha Trang or Mui Ne or Ho Chi Minh

Today you can choose to travel to the popular tourist beach of Nha Trang, the quieter but equally beautiful Mui Ne with its stunning sand dunes or head south to the busy city of Ho Chi Minh(Saigon) Tour ends in the afternoon on arrival at your hotel.
